Produktions- und Ausstellungmanager/in | Studio Monica Bonvicini

Für unser international tätiges Studio in Berlin suchen wir ab sofort eine/n Produktions- und Ausstellungsmanager/in. Die Aufgaben eines/r Produktions- und Ausstellungsmanager/in im Studio Monica Bonvicini umfassen die Begleitung von Produktion neuer Kunstwerke in verschiedenen Materialien und Formaten, Arbeiten an Ausstellungslayouts, Visualisierungen, Vorbereitung von Wettbewerbsunterlagen Kunst am Bau, Betreuung von Künstlereditionen u.v.m.

Gefragt sind:
– Erstellung von Produktionszeichnungen, Visualisierungen, Wettbewerbsunterlagen für Ausschreibungen, Vorbereitung und Anfertigungen von druckfähigen Bilddateien und vektorisierten Schnittdateien in enger Zusammenarbeit mit der Künstlerin
– Betreuung aller Produktionsschritte, von der Recherche möglicher Produzenten und Werkstätten über das Einholen von Angeboten bis zur Realisierung, Qualitätschecks in Rahmen der Produktion, sowie dem Herstellen von Tests und Installation von Proben im Studio
– Entwicklung von Projektplänen, inklusive der Verwaltung von Verträgen und Erstellung von Budgets
– Kommunikation und Verhandlung zwischen Studio und Institutionen in Bezug auf Materialanforderungen und Budget/ Kontrolle der Projektkosten im Rahmen der Budgetvorgaben
– Dokumentation des Produktionsprozesses, Verfassen von Installationsvorgaben
– Supervising von Ausstellungsaufbauten und Koordinierung von Studioassistenten im Rahmen der Produktion oder Installation, wenn nötig

Qualifikationen:
– Hochschulabschluss (MA) in Architektur
– 5 Jahre Erfahrung im Projektmanagement in einem Künstlerstudio oder in einem verwandten Bereich
– Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Projekten während des gesamten Lebenszyklus
– Erfahrung in Wettbewerben Kunst am Bau
– Fähigkeit, Projekte gemäß dem vorgegebenen Umfang, Budget und Zeitplan abzuschließen
– Erfahrung in Archivierung und Dokumentation von Projekten
– Materialkenntnisse und technische Fähigkeiten
– Fähigkeit, auftretende Probleme flexibel und kreativ zu lösen, Organisationstalent!
– Ausgeprägte zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten, Teamfähigkeit und großer Einfallsreichtum
– Sensibilität für künstlerische Projekte
– Kenntnisse in den Bereichen Kunst, Architekturgeschichte und -theorie, Graphik, Kunstprojekte
– Kenntnisse in MS-Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Erfahrung in 2D- und 3D-Rendering (RHINO, CAD, vorzugsweise AutoCAD), Scultping-Programme
– Vorzugsweise ein Netzwerk von Produzenten und Zulieferern aus den Bereichen Kunst, Film, Theater oder Musikproduktion
– Erfahrung im Handling, der Installation und dem Verpacken von Kunstwerken
– Sehr gutes Deutsch und Englisch
– Führerschein

Production and Exhibition Manager | Studio Monica Bonvicini

For our internationally active studio in Berlin, we are looking to hire a Production and Exhibition Manager with immediate effect. The responsibilities of a Production and Exhibition Manager at Studio Monica Bonvicini include overseeing the production of new artworks in a variety of materials and formats, working on exhibition layouts and visualizations, preparing competition materials for Kunst am Bau projects, managing artist editions, and much more.

Responsibilities include:
• Creating production drawings, visualizations, and competition materials for calls for proposals; preparing and producing print-ready image files and vectorized cutting files in close collaboration with the artist
• Managing all stages of production, from researching potential producers and workshops and obtaining quotes through to realization; conducting quality checks during production, as well as producing tests and installing prototypes in the studio
• Developing project plans, including contract management and budget preparation
• Communicating and negotiating between the studio and institutions regarding material requirements and budgets; monitoring project costs in line with budget guidelines
• Documenting the production process and drafting installation instructions
• Supervising exhibition installations and coordinating studio assistants during production or installation, when necessary

Qualifications:
• University degree (MA) in Architecture
• At least 5 years of experience in project management in an artist’s studio or a related field
• Experience managing projects throughout their entire lifecycle
• Experience with Kunst am Bau competitions
• Ability to complete projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline
• Experience in archiving and documenting projects
• Strong material knowledge and technical skills
• Ability to solve problems flexibly and creatively; strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and a high degree of creativity
• Sensitivity to artistic projects
• Knowledge of art, architectural history and theory, graphic design, and art projects
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with 2D and 3D rendering (Rhino, CAD, preferably AutoCAD), and sculpting software
• Ideally, an existing network of producers and suppliers in the fields of art, film, theater, or music production
• Experience in handling, installing, and packing artworks
• Very good command of German and English
• Valid driver’s license
